Aalo Atomics confirmed on Thursday, Aug. 20 that the company has no plans to continue a project to build a testing site near McMahan.

The company halted construction after being advised that it could not continue work on the site until it obtained a commercial water well permit from Plum Creek Conservation District and a septic permit from Caldwell County. 

Businesses operating in unincorporated areas of the county must obtain these permits and pass inspection to determine whether the building or buildings comply with the Caldwell County Fire Code.
