Area 4-Hers were recently honored, with commissioners recognizing Oct. 6-12 as National 4-H Week in Caldwell County.
The Texas 4-H Youth Development Program of the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service has provided 116 years of experienced based education to youth across the Lone Star State.
The proclamation was issued Tuesday, October 8 in Caldwell County Commissioners Court after several students took the podium to tell the court about what they were working on in 4-H and what they were gaining from participating in the program.
Commissioners commended both students and educators alike for their participation in the program.
