DPS and Tax Offices in Caldwell County are closed today, July 19, due to the nationwide Microsoft outage caused by a defect in a recent software update. 

The outage is affecting Texas DPS offices across the state.

9-1-1 emergency services are operating normally.

According to reports, the problem has been identified and a fix has been deployed. Stay tuned for further updates.
