Caldwell County is joining officials across Texas who are participating in a statewide drill for local alerting systems on April 2.

Be ready in case of emergency by making sure you are able to receive alerts:

• Check the settings on your smartphone and make sure WEA alerts are enabled.
• Sign up to receive emergency notifications by text, phone call or email at warncentraltexas.org.

This test, which will be conducted between 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., will help ensure emergency notification systems are ready for use when needed.
