UPDATE: The Caldwell County Courthouse administrative offices will close at noon, Friday, October 31 due to traffic and parking closures downtown. The closure will not affect the DPS driver license office.

FYI: The Texas Monthly BBQ Fest begins Saturday, Nov. 1, but downtown road closures that will affect parking for courthouse visitors Friday will begin circa 5 p.m. this evening. Closures on the inner ring of Main, Market and Commerce by the courthouse will be in effect beginning this evening. Parking along San Antonio Street (west of Main) and along Commerce will be unavailable beginning at noon Friday. The remaining closures along Commerce and San Antonio will begin at 10 p.m. Friday, with parking being unavailable starting at 3 p.m.

Roads will reopen at 9 a.m. Sunday. Day 2 of the event moves to Lockhart City Park.
