Update to the COVID-19 Testing and Vaccine Site:

In observance of Labor Day, the Caldwell County Testing and Vaccine Site will be Closed Sunday September 5, 2021 and Monday September 6, 2021. Testing and Vaccinations will resume Tuesday September 7, 2021 at 8AM to 4PM.

For Testing please register at: https://register.txrapidtest.org/
Please save the QR Code Image, and present the QR code image to the military service member at the test site and get tested.

Hours of Operation for Test Site are: 8 AM to 4 PM

Type of Test: The Abbott Labs BinaxNow Rapid Test, Results in 15 minutes. ******THIS IS NOT A PCR TEST ********

Free of Charge / No Insurance needed / Minimum age for Testing: 5 years of age.


The Caldwell County Office of Emergency Management and Texas Military Forces are also offering the COVID-19 Pfizer and Moderna Booster vaccines with medical prerequisites and they are as follows:

Currently, CDC is recommending that moderately to severely immunocompromised people receive an additional dose. This includes people who have: 1: Been receiving active cancer treatment for tumors or cancers of the blood, 2: Received an organ transplant and are taking medicine to suppress the immune system, 3: Received a stem cell transplant within the last 2 years or are taking medicine to suppress the immune system, 4: Moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency (such as DiGeorge syndrome, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome), 5: Advanced or untreated HIV infection, 6: Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or other drugs that may suppress your immune response, 7: People should talk to their healthcare provider about their medical condition, and whether getting an additional dose is appropriate for them. 8: And must be over 28 days after last (MRNA) Pfizer and Moderna 2nd Dose

Also being offered are the standard COVID-19 / Pfizer and Moderna 1st and 2nd Vaccine doses to those who need it.

Hours of Operation for the Vaccines are: 8 AM to 11AM / 1 PM to 4 PM.

Testing and Vaccinations are Free of Charge
No Insurance needed.

Minimum age for Testing: 5 years of age.
